Do I need previous cycling experience?
It depends on the tour you choose. The Cappadocia Family Cycling Adventure is suitable for beginners and families, while the Cappadocia Loop Bike Tour requires a moderate fitness level. The Cappadocia Epic MTB Challenge is recommended for experienced mountain bikers.
What happens if the weather is bad?
Tours may be rescheduled or canceled if weather conditions make riding unsafe. In such cases, we will offer an alternative date or a refund according to our cancellation policy.
Is there a minimum or maximum group size?
Our bike tours operate in small groups, with a maximum of 12 participants, ensuring a safe and personalized experience. Either you are a solo rider or a big group we can operate the tour.
How much elevation gain is included in each bike tour?
Each tour offers a different level of climbing and is designed for a specific fitness level:
Cappadocia Family Cycling Adventure: 300 m ascent / 300 m descent – An easy route with gentle climbs, ideal for families and beginner cyclists.
Cappadocia Loop Bike Tour: 650 m ascent / 650 m descent – A moderate ride featuring rolling hills and varied terrain, suitable for riders with some cycling experience.
Cappadocia Epic MTB Challenge: 890 m ascent / 890 m descent – A demanding mountain biking adventure with significant climbs and descents, recommended for experienced riders with a good level of fitness.
What type of bike is included in the tour?
All bike tours include a premium Orbea Laufey H10 hardtail mountain bike, ideal for Cappadocia's mixed terrain, including dirt roads, valley trails, and rocky paths. If you prefer extra assistance on climbs, you can upgrade to an electric mountain bike:
Orbea Wild FS Full Suspension E-MTB – €80 per person (optional upgrade)
Bisan Envious XC E-MTB – €30 per person (optional upgrade)
E-bike upgrades are subject to availability and should be requested when booking.
