This is a sacred spiritual ceremony, not a show. Modest, comfortable clothing is encouraged out of respect for the Dervishes and the ritual's deep cultural roots. The ceremony is conducted in a contemplative atmosphere. Guests are kindly asked to remain quiet throughout, allowing everyone to fully absorb the spiritual energy of the Sema.
