FAQ
How much walking is involved ?
Expect a moderately active day with approximately 3–5 km of walking spread across four different stops. The terrain varies — from cobblestone streets in Mustafapaşa to rocky valley paths in Soğanlı — so comfortable shoes are genuinely important.
How many people are on the tour ?
The group tour operates in small groups to ensure a personal, comfortable experience. If you prefer complete exclusivity, the private option is available for just your party.
What languages is the tour available in ?
The tour is conducted in English as standard. If you require a guide in another language, please contact us in advance and we will do our best to accommodate your request for the private tour option.
Are entrance fees expensive ?
Entrance fees at the sites on the Blue Tour are generally very affordable by international standards. We recommend budgeting approximately €10–€20 per person to comfortably cover all site entries, though fees are subject to change and are set by the sites themselves.
What is the best season to take the Blue Tour ?
The Blue Tour is beautiful in every season, but spring (April–June) and autumn (September–October) offer the most comfortable temperatures for walking and the most stunning natural colors across the valley landscapes. Summer is warm but manageable with the right preparation, and winter brings a dramatic, moody atmosphere that feels almost cinematic.

We booked a blue tour specifically to see two locations and because the tour didn’t visit any locations that are encouraging you to purchase anything . As soon as the tour commenced it was evident that these two locations weren’t on the itinerary and we would be visiting an onyx workshop and later in the day a Turkish sweets and coffee market. I contacted the tour office and was told we’d visit both locations that we’d expressed an interest in. We did end up visiting one of the places briefly but not the other which was disappointing.
