Part 2 — Cappadocia Wine Tasting

As the afternoon light turns golden, your experience transforms into something altogether more sensory. You'll be taken to an authentic cave wine house, where Cappadocia's 4,000-year-old winemaking heritage comes to life.

Your host will introduce you to the volcanic terroir that makes this region unique — pure tuff soil, high-altitude vineyards, and dramatic temperature swings that produce grapes of rare minerality and elegance. You'll enjoy a curated tasting of local red, white, and rosé wines, including the native Emir grape (crisp, citrusy, mineral-driven) and the bold Öküzgözü (Bull's Eye) red, sourced from the iconic Turasan and Kocabağ wineries.

Every sip is paired with a traditional Anatolian tasting plate, earthenware-aged cheese, aromatic herb cheese, peppered olives, walnuts, mixed nuts, and Cappadocia's famed naturally sweet dried apricots, perfectly balanced to complement the wines.
